Six Secret Dining Hall Food Combos

Tired of the same old dining hall food every day? Here are some creative combinations to mix it up!

 

Cinnamon Sugar Waffle:

  1. Melt butter in a paper cup
  2. Mix evenly with cinnamon and sugar (near the bagels)
  3. Spray waffle iron with a lot of pam to prevent sticking
  4. Pour in enough batter to cover base of iron
  5. Pour sugar mixture into the center
  6. Cover completely with more batter
  7. Cook waffle

 

Raspberry Lemonade:

  1. Fill cup 1/3 with ice
  2. Add a scoop of raspberry sorbet (when available)
  3. Squeeze one or two lemon slices into cup
  4. Top off with soda water
  5. Mix to blend

 

Nutella Mocha:

  1. Scoop 1 spoonful of Nutella into a cup
  2. Fill half of the cup with hot coffee
  3. Fill the other half with hot chocolate
  4. Stir in the Nutella

 

Homemade Hummus:

  1. Put chickpeas (from salad bar) in a bowl
  2. Add 1 quick splash of lemonade
  3. Squeeze 1 lemon wedge for that extra lemon flavor
  4. Drip in a good amount of olive oil to make the consistency right
  5. Finish off with some salt and pepper
  6. Mash up with a fork until smooth

 

Iced Green Tea Combo:

  1. Take two cups; fill one with ice and one half full of hot water
  2. Put 1 inch of lemonade in the ice cup
  3. Get a green tea bag and put in the hot water cup with extra sugar and ginger
  4. Wait three minutes
  5. Pour ice/lemonade mix into the hot cup
  6. Stir together

 

Milk Tea:

  1. Fill the base of the cup with honey
  2. Pour hot water and mix
  3. Use English Breakfast Tea and steep
  4. Pour milk until desired consistency
